Bridal Makeup for Black and Photos

One of the things frequently over looked when picking out your bridal makeup style is how it will appear in black an white photos. The features of your look changes completely. What becomes the focus is basic contouring of the cheek bones and the eyes, especially the brows.

Many people are afraid of getting waxed for one reason or another but this lazy therapist says do it! A week before make an appointment at a reputable salon or an Ulta with a Benefit Brow Bar and have these individuals take care of you. Be sure to express your concerns on waxing so the specialist can be sure you are both on the same page. DO NOT WAX THE DAY BEFORE! I can't express this enough. When the skin is newly waxed makeup will not adhere to the skin. This is not the case for everybody but I can say it's true with the majority. There may even be some swelling post-wax and any over the counter anti-inflammatory medication will help.

Even if you aren't someone who fills in your brows normally, trust your makeup artist on this. A perfectly sculpted brow will give a clean and very polished look.

The next thing to think of is false lashes. I believe false lashes make a large difference in photos especially black and white shots. I usually don't suggest getting individuals done for the simple reason that they are meant to stay on longer than one day. I use simple flares that add length and fullness mid-lash line on which is really the only place you need it, in my opinion.

So the next time you are looking through pictures, take a closer look at the black and white shots and see where your eye is drawn to.

Good Talk.

Now go clean off your cell phone.
